WEAKNESS is defined as a lack of strength or a character flaw, or something that you cannot resist.

STRENGTH is a good or beneficial quality or attribute of a person.

Adolescence

The term "adolescence" came from the Latin word "adolescere" which means "grow".


The period following the onset of puberty during which a young person develops from a child into an adult.

- He coined the term adolescence and defined it as the period of storm and stress of human life.


PUBERTY signals the beginning of adolescence. The whole period of Adolescence maybe roughly divided into three stages, such as:


Early Adolescence (11-14 years old)

Middle Adolescence (15-17 years old)

Late Adolescence (18-21 years old)


What is self-awareness, and how to develop it?


SELF-AWARENESS is defined as conscious knowledge of one's own character, feelings, motives, and desires.


"The more you know yourself, the better you are."


The Importance of Self-Awareness

- This keeps you away from living a lie, fantasy, imagination or pretension.


When you have a problem, the first step of solving it is admitting that you have a problem, which is part of self-awareness.


INTROSPECTION or Self-Awareness will lead to any improvement, as self improvement is hardly possible without self-awareness.



WAYS THAT CAN HELP YOU TO HAVE BETTER SELF-AWARENESS

1. Make an effort to look at yourself objectively

2. Set your personal goals

3. Keep a journal

4. Make a self-review


Journal is a record of experiences, ideas or reflections kept regularly for private use.


PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

It is a process that usually happens between ages 10 and 14 for girls and ages 12 and 16 for boys. It causes physical changes, and affects boys and girls differently. They are at or close to their adult height and weight.


SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

The term "social" refers to the interactions and relations that take place between people. Virtually, all aspects of society are social. Society is a group of people who co-exist in an organized manner.


MENTAL DEVELOPMENT

This refers to the intellectual capacity of an individual. How a person talks, the range of ideas he expresses, and the things he talk about, as well as his values and mental alertness give evidence of his mental capacity.


EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Emotional aspect is how we feel about something internally.

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

Spirituality refers to a religious process of re-formation which "aims to recover the original shape of man," oriented at "the image of God" as exemplified by the founders and sacred texts of the religions of the world.
